CL Hawks Baseball Takes another Loss from Boerne, 10-1

Canyon Lake could only scratch off one run in their second run-ruled game game with the Boerne Greyhounds, 10-1.

There were two outs when Avery Montgomery reached base base on the Greyhound’s short-stop error.

JT Greene followed with a walk which advanced Montgomery with two on and two outs.

Enter Caleb Williams with a line drive single to left field to score Montgomery but that would be the extent of the damage on this night.

Errors and walks were the two ingredients for Boerne’s two 4 run innings and another loss for the Hawks.

Canyon Lake will be on the road this Friday when they meet up with the Hondo Owls as a win would go a long way in helping the Hawks right the ship and have a chance making a move for a decent season, win wise.
