Volleyball: BCS evens District Record, Beats Summit 3-0
Bracken Christian dug deep and left Summit grasping for air in the three game sweep of their District foe, winning 25-6, 25-2, and 25-10.
The game evened the record for the Warriors after losing in four games to OLH earlier this week in Kerrville.
The Warriors were at the door step against OLH, but never knocked on the door and finish the game. BCS had a 21-10 lead and could not finish.
It happened again in the second game when the Warriors were rolling along with an eight point lead with the same result.
“Nobody stepped up,” Head Coach Shaunna Teuton said. “We need to work on our consistency.”
When asked about how the team needs to approach games like this Coach Teuton was quick with her answer, “How we play now is how we will be playing in the playoffs.”
But enough with the game earlier this week. Summit was just not up to par with the Warriors, in fact, they were having a lot of bogeys and quite frankly seemed to be playing miniature golf.
Summit was behind 21-1 in the second game and the team just could not seem to handle the Warriors serves the whole night.
