 This Year:

BCS Warriors    68  Austin Hill Country     48

BCS Warriors    66  Tomball Rosehill        18
BCS Warriors    62  Round Rock Christian 00

The Bracken Warriors take on an old foe that played the first two years of existence. In fact, the 2007 win was just the Warriors fourth win in their history.

Four years later Bracken Christian has 47 wins and currently on an 18 game winning streak.

This game is one of the connect the dots games. The Wildcats played Marble Falls last week and were beat by the Mercy rule.

The Warriors will be coming off their camp week, which usually means a sluggish start to the game. BCS will have too much firepower for the ‘Cats to handle, even if the Warriors were having a whole week of Lock-ins.

Bracken is in the Top Ten of all the 6-Man schools in the State of Texas. They are presently holding down the 7th spot with all the UIL teams. Bracken is the highest rated Private school in that illustrious group.

New Braunfels plays as an independent and are not presently in a district.

The Warriors are spreading the wealth around as several players have already topped the 100 yards rushing barrier. Grady Achilles has rushed 33 times and has 10 touchdowns or almost a third of his carries goes across the goal line.

Austin Wilkinson has also picked up his game and plays literally all over the field on defense and offense. Newcomer Arnold Adame catches every ball thrown to him and when he gets in gear, then he is hard to bring down.

Ehren Jacobson has brought his lunch pale to each game, as he goes to work on any defensive player that would like to bring him down.

Add to the cast: Eli Achilles, has too much fun hitting opponents on the field. Then can run, pass, or catch the ball and make the visitor pay.

The ReSporter has not even mentioned Peter Corey, Kevin Knapick, Connor Simmons, etc….

You can see why this team is hard to beat. Depth.

Expect this game to be the fourth, ‘Mercy’ game, in a row.

The good news is the electric bill for the lights will be just half the cost this month.
