CL Hawks Leave Week with 2-Game Winning Streak

                 Lady Hawks getting instructions in loss to Lockhart last Tuesday.

Canyon Lake will be going into this week sporting a 2 game winning streak as the Hawks will go on the road to Poth (9-4) for another test from a good team.

The Hawks have been up and down so far this year and will look to continue this much needed winning streak this Tuesday.

Canyon Lake started last week with a loss to Lockhart and then up the ante at the NEISD Tournament against some stalwart 6A schools.

CL finished the Tournament beating SA Lee and Judson for the Consolation Title in the Bronze Bracket.

Now a battle with a 3A foe against Poth who has a pretty salty resume so far this season with wins over Liberty Hill, the same team Canyon Lake beat to start their season two weeks ago.

The Hawks will look to continue their upbeat play after having very competitive games throughout that NEISD Tourney this past week-end.

Canyon Lake will end this week in San Marcos’ Rattler Tourney which will certainly have some more large schools to play and hone their skills to ready themselves for the season that counts in District 28-4A starting next month.
