             =======================================================

North Shore UMC invites you to 5th Quarter for all Home Games this Year!

A good week at Canyon Lake as Volleyball started their district season with a win over Boerne and will have two games this week.

The Lady Hawks will travel to Llano on Tuesday and Wimberley on Friday as this first round of action gets going.

Bandera started with a loss to Fredericksburg and Wimberley beat Llano and both teams share the top spot with your Hawks.

That sharing thing might be over this week after a Texan-Billie matchup on Tuesday and CL playing Wimberley pm Friday.

That Boerne contest had The Lake playing at a high level that had brooms in abundance with a sweep of the Greyhounds. All 3 sets were nail biters which will show how tough this district might become.

The CL Hawks Football team ran their record to 4-0 after taking care of the Tigers with a complete game for those first 3 quarters allowing everyone in the game on a homecoming night.

Starts Cafe Says Go Hawks!

If Canyon Lake can pull off a victory this week then your Hawks will be over .500 record wise for the first time since that first curtain call with Blanco in 2008. That was not a good opening as the Hawks would start that first campaign with a, 1-9 final game count.

The winner of this week’s game will break a tie for the series as both schools stand with a 5-5 record.

This will be the last pre-district affair and then an off week before district starts with those Ducks of Taylor.

Congrats and Go Hawks!!
