District Race is Next for Canyon Lake

Canyon Lake will go into the most important part of their season when the Taylor Ducks pay a visit to the Hawk Nest this Friday.
The Hawks did what they needed to do in their pre-district contests with an unblemished record for just the 2nd time since the school started varsity football.
Way to Go Hawks!!
CL’s offense is not as polished at last year’s crew but there has been improvement as each week continues to add repetition for Peyton McMullen’s Sophomore year. Replacing a three year starter in Ben Fulton would not be an easy chore for any Hawk player, but it is hard to argue with a 5-0 record.
There have been several stalwarts on the defensive side of the ball and this will be a key in giving CL a chance to have a chance of winning their 2nd District Championship during this campaign.
It will all start this week when those pesky Ducks fly to The Lake.
Canyon Lake finally had their day in last year’s win as this contest had been a tough out with three losses that had a Hawk lead in each loss.
