Bracken Christian Warriors are now officially into setting their sites on playoffs as they can clinch a playoff berth with a win this Friday night at Warriors Field.

BCS has now won 20 games in a row and face a team that has yet to play four quarters in the history of the series.

CASA has a small but feisty team and last time The ReSporter checked…Big is not always good for 6-Man football.

Javier Gonzales and Daniel Ramirez will both bring their Seniority to the game and try to disrupt the Warriors.

Most of the players will be in the 5’7” stature and will average 155 pounds.

“This is the quickest team since Hill Country,” Head Coach Lloyd Fields said.

Last year Bracken were able to catch the Rams to the tune of minus 61 yards rushing. CASA was passing most of the game and did end up with positive yardage.

This will also explain the negative yardage with sacks from two Seniors that no longer play for Bracken—Grant Granato and Stephen Burbank.

Bracken will have to find people that can apply the same pressure and allow the defensive backfield to get turnovers.

The kicking game for BCS has improved dramatically as Kevin Knapick had probably one of his best games kicking in his last game.

The bonus kick will come in handy as games get more serious and this is a time to start sharpening those skills.

Going back three years since comprehensive stats have been kept, Bracken has four players already over 100 yards rushing.

The Warriors have three other players that are knocking on the door to acquire those numbers.

BCS is scoring at an all time high of 62.8 points per game while giving up a paltry 13.3.

You can do the math and see that games are being won right at 50 points per match.

The all time high in scoring was set last season when the State Champions finished with a 57.4 clip. Defensively the Warriors also finished with their best year giving up 21.5 yards per contest.

With this being the second District game the ReSporter thought you might enjoy some of these numbers.
