         ==================================================================

                      Go Hawks!!

Canyon Lake will conclude their regular season this Friday when they travel to Liberty Hill to face a State Ranked opponent that seems to be getting more dominant with each passing (excuse us: running ) Friday night.

Last week, LH, put a hurt on the Taylor Ducks by scoring 77 points and allowing a measly 12 points that kept their undefeated district contests without any bumps on their road to the playoffs.

While Canyon Lake has struggles in their last two contests as the Bus that usually transports the team has been replaced by M.A.S.H. medical vehicles.

In both losses, CL could not hold onto their halftime lead as they still search for a way of scoring in the second half of play.

Meanwhile, Liberty Hill has been scoring in their sleep in averaging 66 points per game during District 14-4A stretch of contests.

Canyon Lake can usually have success with their slot-t offense but in this affair, Liberty Hill if they didn’t invent the slot-t have certainly perfected it and will have no problem in defending CL’s offense.

                       Go Hawks!!

A plethora of Panther runners will be taking part in hopes of a win over a huge underdog Hawk crew.

Kyle Harrison will lead this brigade with a slew of other backs as capable to keep their scoring machine well oiled.

For District 14-4A stats, the Panthers have counting Harrison, another 4 other players that reside in the top 15 for rushing yards.

Jacob Cleary will be the magician taking snaps as he is in the top 10 in that same rushing department.

Not much to say about the passing game as both teams presently have no-one that has amassed enough yardage, much less, receptions to get an honorable mention in that category.

  Take the Panthers & Go Hawks!

Liberty Hill had shown a smidgin of vulnerability in earlier games this year by passing teams, but this will not be a contest where Canyon Lake will scare a Panther club through the air.

Canyon Lake would need a perfect game in order to pull an upset and with a team that has lost so many starters to injuries that would certainly be a hard order to achieve.

There is always a chance and that is why they play the games and the Hawks will see if they might be able to get turnovers and other helps in taking this battle.

Go Hawks!!
