Go Hawks Beat the Blue Jays!!
Football finished their last regular season contest and will now be paired with Needville for a Bi-District tilt that will be in Cuero on Friday.
If you cannot make the trek then The ReSporter will have the link for accessing the contest with a Pre/Game show starting at 6:45 with kicking off game time 7:30pm.
Needville Blue Jays finished 2nd place in District 13-4A Div I and your Hawks will be in their 6th year in a row with a chance of playing extra tilts. In 3 of those years, Canyon Lake has made it to the 2nd round and beyond.
That will be the objective this week as well as getting back in the win column after starting the season with 7 straight wins.
Hopefully more Hawks will be able to mend some of their injuries with a chance of fielding a more healed group. The Blue Jays is a strong offensive team and Canyon Lake will need to get that part of their game back in gear to have a chance of playing another week.
Basketball is in gear, too….and will be back in action this Tuesday as both the Boys and Girls will be welcoming Blanco (Boys) and Manor Tech (Girls) as each team will alternate their contests.

North Shore Says Go Hawks!!
The Varsity will start with the Boys at 5pm and then the ladies will follow in the main gym.
Junior Varsity will alternate in Gym 2.
A chance to see what this year will have in one night of enjoying some basketball.
Swimming will be busy on Friday and Saturday with two Meets in two different venues. Burnet (Friday) and San Marcos (Saturday).
Come back this week with game stories/stats and Football articles leading up to that Friday battle.
Go Hawks!!
