CASA gets Exterminated, BCS Wins, 74-6

CASA got infested with Warriors as Bracken Christian crushed the Rams, 74-6 in a blowout Homecoming win, last Friday at Warrior Stadium.

This was the second game in as many years that Bracken could of called a game after the first quarter, as they scored over 45 points. The 58 point quarter was 12 points more when BCS had when they beat SA Lutheran last year.

Unfortunately for CASA the game went another quarter, but Bracken took it easy on their visitors from San Antonio. The Warriors finished taking a knee on the doorstep of CASA’s one yard line.

CASA had one of 33 plays that something good happened and their only score. The 70 yard pass play allowed the Rams to finish with positive yardage for the game with 51 total yards.

Nose guard Austin Wilkinson was in the Rams backfield so fast they he could of taken the snap from center. Wilkinson collected safeties like an exterminator collects bugs at your CASA.

CASA also found out that they had foundation problems too.

The Warriors dominated with the defense so well the following numbers will require that you walk in the CASA with a mask on.

35 plays for the Rams and their Results:
1 Play was a lost fumble.
 2 Plays were for Punts.
2 Plays went for interceptions. (Eli Achilles and Sam Hilgendorf)
8 Plays went for positive yardage by passing or rushing.
22 Plays was no gain or negative yardage

Bracken Christian took two minutes off the second quarter clock by taking a knee after each snap.

If the team had not run out the clock, then the score could of been much worse. Since they had scored 58 in the first quarter for 10 minutes, the Warriors could have tacked on two more scores not counting the knee the team took on CASA’s one yard line.

The Warriors had one penalty resulting in a five yard gain for CASA. That play gained more yardage than 29 plays run by the Rams.

What does this mean?

The Warriors are one of the top teams in the State for 6-Man football including UIL and Private. Bracken is easily one of the most complete teams.

The Offense is scoring 65 points a game, all but one of the games have been less than four quarters.

The first team Defense has not given up a score in the last four games.

The Special teams have one of the best kickers in the State that has not had to punt yet this season. The team does not field punts because BCS needs practice running plays.

This was a 15 play offensive game. The Warriors have had a 16,18, and 19 play games already this season.

Now, you can see the angst for the future games. The Playoffs will be tougher teams especially in the South Bracket, where three of the top four teams reside.

Head Coach Lloyd Fields is well aware of how the tea leaves are shaping up and his job will be won now for the playoffs.

CASA was exterminated so well that the house fell down after the bugs were eradicated.

Former Texas Coach Darrell Royal once said, “That situation is kind of like the cockroach, it’s not so much what he gets into and carries away but what he falls into and messes up.”

Bracken will now go about getting rid of all the roaches in your house…make sure you put away your breakable items though, the team uses footballs to get the job done.
