Hawks Lose to Texans, Still in District Race with Billies

The good news was having Fredericksburg losing to Boerne, 5-2 allowing CL to still have control of their own destiny and a win on Thursday against Llano would go a long way in giving these Hawks a playoff chance for their 2nd year in a row.
This Hawk team was done in on this night by not being able to get a hit with runners on base and having their defensive side of the ball with costly errors that kept the Texan’s innings to continue unhindered.
Those combinations will result in a loss and now a chance to put this contest behind and look for a rebound in this Thursday’s home game with District 28-4A leader Llano.
