With one more game before reaching the halfway mark of this regular season, The ReSporter, would like to publish each of the Sub-Varsity and Varsity teams below.

CL’s Freshman (1-3) got on the winning track in their last game and look ready to continue that upward movement as this season matures.
What you can see with their season stats below is how this team is ahead of their counterparts in gaining more yardage which is a key stat on showing how this team can be right at the door step of pulling off several more wins as their district schedule comes calling in a couple of weeks.
This Junior Varsity started their season with an opening game loss that has been rectified in winning their last 3 battles.
You have a group of players (Sophomores) that have a 3 year streak of winning their District Championship.
As Mountain Valley Middle School has changed their schedule in the last 3 years of playing Comal County schools which are teams that have more students to draw from being schools that feed into 6A classifications.
Last year, the Freshman class, suffered just one loss and had an undefeated district slate for that streak to reach three years.
Now, CL’s, junior varsity has some Juniors sprinkled into this class and there are several Sophomores who have graduated to Canyon Lake’s Varsity squad.

Canyon Lake Varsity have lost two games to State Ranked opponents and will look to end their regular season with more wins and another playoff berth.
Next week, action will begin with a road game to Blanco before district opens their curtain.
