Canyon Lake’s situation played out to be one the worst case scenarios with a Lampasas win by 10 points over Fredericksburg coupled with a Hawk win over Burnet.
That 10 point win put Lampasas as the 2nd seed and scooted Canyon Lake to the 4th seed due to a Hawk loss to Freddie a few weeks ago.
Hence a date with the top seeded Boerne team that won District 14-4A this Thursday in Wimberley. The ReSporter will have a preview to that game tomorrow with this being a short week before that Bi-District battle.
The stats below would be better spent spending time with the numbers on the district games since all those games pitted each other versus one team playing a school that no one else played which might hurt or help in those averages.
By looking at the stats below in that manner would show that Canyon Lake was actually the 2nd best team in district.
