A slow start due to cold weather two weeks ago has given way to a great weekend of weather last week with a lot of tournaments again this week.

Boerne has started out of the gate winning their first 10 games before losing their first in their last tournament game last Saturday. The Greyhounds are serving notice that they will want to finish on top after Canyon Lake finished the season on top of the district heap.
Speaking of which, the Hawks had two set-backs against larger schools (Dripping Springs & Victoria East) last week and will enjoy hosting their tournament starting on Thursday with 5 games on tap.
Davenport had a decent stint in a tourney in the Metroplex and Wimberley will also go into those week’s games with a winning record.
A suprise so far in Bandera who has won 4 more games than they had last year and will look to continue a renaissance this week.

Another surprise was Fredericksburg on the other end of that pendulum starting with just one win and several losses by one run battles. The Billies will be working on changing their fortunes in Wimberley’s Tournament starting on Thursday.
There should be some more data put into place after a bevy of games and a chance to see which teams might be in a hunt for a district championship.
A week of iffy weather but the good news is both teams playing in those same conditions.
