Game Stats: CLJV & Freshman vs. Burnet

Canyon Lake was on the losing end for their two sub-varsity outings at Burnet on Thursday.

There were some worthy notes taken from the Game Stats below.

For the Freshman, it was a QB Jace Wheeler and Receiver Peyton King show for The Lake with 152 total yards passing for Wheeler and King turned out to be his favorite receiver as with a total of 106 yards receiving.

The ReSporter can’t recall the last time a Hawk broke the 100 yards receiving barrier. It had to be during the pre slot-t 2013 teams.

For the Junior Varsity it was Tristan Hallman who finally broke the scoring slump when he made the edge and sped across the goal line covering 51 yards.
