                            GO HAWKS!!

One of those busiest weeks is now in the books and that had CLake’s Lady Soccer team finishing with a win over Bandera and tie with the Texans. That tie was the 2nd of the season against a team that shows just one loss to a Louisiana school and two ties (which came against your Hawks).

A solid 3rd seed with a chance of taking a 2nd seed if The Lake can sweep Marble Falls on the road and Davenport at home this Friday. Let’s GO LAKE!

Softball finished with a hard fought loss to Blanco and then finished their Friday game run ruling Killeen Chaparrals, 11-1 which now sets up one more non-district game with Llano on Tuesday and then a road game against Wimbo.

                  Way to Go Hawks!!

Track & Field will be at Lago Vista this Thursday with Field Events & 3200 meter run starting at 1:00pm and the Lady Hawks will be searching their 3rd straight Meet win. After beating some large schools last week in Pleasanton that had Kerrville and La Vernia in that mix.

The Ladies (191 points) had a first place in 10 events which set the stage for a 62 point margin of victory over Kerrville who finished second followed by La Vernia.

Hawk Baseball Varsity will have a one game week this Friday when the face an undefeated Crystal City (10-0) with first pitch coming after the Green Team sets the stage at 4:30pm.

One more week of non-district contests next Monday and then a tough district slate starts up when The Lake goes across the Backbone to play Wimbo on March 25th.

Hit’em-kick’em Hard Hawks!
