CL Hawk’s Freeze in Two Losses at Llano Tourney
Canyon Lake had the two games that were as different as the weather.

The first game was pleasant temperature wise and then by the start of the second game the temperature was 30 degrees colder and of course a wind that made it feel colder.
Errors were the culprit in both games as St. Michaels runs were all unearned in the middle part of the contest. As the Hawks lost their three run lead and finished the game coming within one run of tying the score.
In the second game, Taylor jumped out to a five run lead in the first two innings when Canyon Lake started inching back to within striking distance.
A three run fifth inning put a time limit loss on the belt for the Hawks as the warmth of the bus I’m sure looked to be a welcome site for the Polar Bears.
Travis Walker had two hits in the night cap with one of the hits going for a double.
Michael Brady finished the two stint going two for four from the plate with two walks. Brady has started carving up a good on base percentage.
Canyon Lake had to find a replacement for Daniel Camarillo who also had a Track Meet on the same day.
The eight errors were once again a contributing factor for the two losses.
Canyon Lake will try to continue the tournament with a 8am game on Saturday, but the weather might not cooperate.
The next Hawk game will be this coming Tuesday in Wimberley starting at 7pm.
Next home game will be next Friday against Fredericksburg, the game will have the first pitch at 7pm.
Come out this Spring Break Week and root for the Hawks as they will now be exclusively playing District 26-3A schedule.
