Lady Hawks Look to Finish Strong in Region Track Meet

Canyon Lake will have a strong contingent competing at the Regional Meet in Kingsville starting Friday with the 3200 meter run and field events. Last year, The Lake, finished in 6th Place at the Region Meet and with two good relay’s might be able to top that finish.
The ReSporter has compiled the best marks from all 4 Area Meets and where each Hawk participant stands going into this meet.
What is not known are the performances a pr? (Personal Best) or what were the weather conditions and finally what their rest of the field performed. For instance, there was a 3200 meter run winner in the Area 31-32 Meet who won by 17 seconds….would that athlete have a better time based on a runners who had better times.

In other words take those times and distances below with a grain of thought but it will certainly give you an idea of what is needed to finish in the top 2 for an invitation to Austin in two weeks.
