Head Coach Daniella Villarreal: I am extremely proud of all of our athletes and happy to see them receive the recognition they deserve.
Chloe Gray earning Outstanding Setter of the district is a huge accomplishment and reflects her impact on our team’s success. She was the heart of our offense, a steady leader, and one of the hardest-working athletes in our program. We could not have achieved what we did without her. Her presence will be greatly missed.
Kylie Rodriguez was also an integral part of our success, especially in serve receive and defense. She helped us stay in system offensively, kept rallies alive, brought consistency to our back row, and will be deeply missed.
Gabby Fory has grown tremendously each season and continued to rise to every challenge. She was a crucial part of our offense and brought both physical strength and a strong vocal presence to our team.
Preslie Owens and Izzy Fory stepped into bigger roles this season and made a significant impact. Preslie was a powerful offensive force, while Izzy was a defensive anchor who kept the floor clean and extended rallies. Both will be seniors next year, and we are excited to have them return.
Mackenzie Dorn’s leadership will be missed. She was a utility player for us, always willing to do whatever the team needed and making everyone around her better.
Te’a Gonzales and Kylee Goff stepped into starting roles this year and brought consistency, strong blocking, and were options for us offensively. Both will return as juniors next season.
I’m proud of all these girls and everything they accomplished this season, both on the court and in the classroom. The future is bright and we will continue to put in the work and challenge ourselves with even bigger goals!
Way to Go Lake Ladies!
