Lady Hawk Soccer Continues Record Pace

        Way to Make us Proud Hawks!

Canyon Lake took care of business after suffering their first and only loss this year against Wimberley.

The Lake followed that showing beating Long Creek (4-0) and Marble Falls (3-0) in this past week of action. These past two battles now has CLHS alone in 2nd Place in a district loaded with quality opponents.

There is one last district game in the first round this Tuesday as securing 4 spots for the playoffs will be an all out brawl with all but one school eliminated. (unless Bandera goes undefeated….)

This past week had Fredericksburg beating Davenport (1-0) which presented a scenario for the Billies making a move to be one of those 4 teams.

Marble Falls continues to search for a win and will need to turn their two ties into wins for a chance to get back into this dogfight.

The Lake will finish their first round against an always tough Davenport team that are smarting with that loss to the Billies with a pronounced chip on their shoulder.

With a win, Davenport, could move to 3rd place or a Hawk win leaving the Wolves tied for 4th place with Freddie.

The Hawks need to keep pressing for another chance to dethrone the Texans on the road in two weeks.

Yes, a lot of scenarios as this last half of district play gets going on Friday. Teams being in a wait and watch to see results on how those schools move up or down on this roller-coaster ride.
