Lady Hawk’s Track & Field Finish 2nd in Region IV Meet

The Lake’s 4×200 Relay with Shana Cutrer~Aubrey Avey~Savanna Oberholtzer~Te’a Gonzales show off their medals! Go Lake & see at State!

Canyon Lake’s Lady Track Team finished 2nd in last week’s Regional IV Meet in scoring 59 points.

Both 4×100 & 4×200 Relays were able to finish 1st & 2nd  which accounts for 36 of those 59 Lake points.

This will be the sixth straight year The Lake Ladies have been able to qualify for The State Meet.

It was Landry Brown who qualified in the High Jump in 2021 and then ‘build it and they will come’ motif was born with several athletes being able to make that 60 mile trip to Austin in these last 5 seasons.
