             =============+++++++++++++++++++++++============

The Lake’s Volleyball team has done what is needed for this first round of district play after sweeping Bandera & Fredericksburg which are the two schools along with The Lake fighting for a playoff spot.

With 6 schools in District 27-4A will present a simple math that two teams will be left out. So, the two wins over the Bulldogs/Billies places CL grouped with Wimberley and Davenport the two teams left for The Lake to play and finish this first round of battles.

Cross Country will have their District 27-4A meet in Bandera this Thursday. There are a few Hawks that are primed for a good finish based on the regular season meets.

Football righted their flight in district play with an impressive win over a previous undefeated Taylor and will celebrate this Friday’s Homecoming game against Austin Travis. Both teams enter this contest tied with a, 1-1 district record.

Way to GO LAKE!!
