                 ==============+++++++++++++++++++++++============

First things first will have CL’s Cross Country team qualifying 4 students for Region Meet next week.

The Hawk Ladies had Sophie (2nd 11:31.15) and Eva Zabarcencu (4th 11:56.53) qualify and punch their ticket to a Regional Meet. CL’s Boys finished in 4th place and had two runners qualifying being Gibson Cover’s 7th place 16:59.20 and Baret McDermet right on Cover’s heals with an 8th finish, 17:01.00 time. Congrats Hawks!

Volleyball clinched a playoff spot with their, 3-1 win over Fredericksburg. The Lake swept the Billies and Bandera to earn this post-season spot.

Hawk Volleyball will enter the final week of District 27-4A play welcoming Kerrville Tivy at the Hawk Nest before finishing district this Friday in Wimberley.

Lake football will have a tough battle at home this Friday when Fredericksburg comes to town with a win over Davenport. The Billies are tied with Kerrville a top of district with 4-0 records.

Canyon Lake (3-1) is ahead of Taylor/Davenport who sport 2-2 records. The Lake’s one loss was to Davenport.

With 3 games remaining and two of those pitted against the two undefeated foes shows how tough CL’s  next two weeks will be.

A win this week would clinch a playoff spot as well as giving Hawk’s a potential District Championship by sweeping their next three battles.

Taylor and Davenport game this week will break a tie and clear up some scenarios as this season enters the final stages.

Looking at the Standings below and by checking out the remaining schedule  you can see what avenues will transpire as each week shapes up.
