Another full and important contests this first week of November. Starting with Sophie Eastland and Eva Zabarcencu competing in Round Rock this Friday at the State Cross Country Meet. These two young ladies have been consistent this season and their perseverance has paid off with a chance for more accomplishment. Good Luck!!
Congrats is also due for Volleyball’s Bi-District sweep of Pleasanton last Friday and will be back in action this Tuesday at Buda~Johnson High School…Let’s Get a Big Lake crowd for this Area Round match-up against Gateway.
Yes, some more Congrats to CL’s Varsity Football team who upset Kerrville hanging on for a, 53-50 win. That result now gives a chance for a district title with a win over Austin LBJ this Friday at Nelson Field.
Congrats to CL’s Freshman Football crew who also claimed a 13-4A District Championship as they stayed undefeated in beating Kerrville Tivy and this week will combine with The Lake’s JV when they meet at the Hawk Nest Thursday with kick-off commencing 5:00pm.
Lady Basketball will continue with another scrimmage this Tuesday and then with their first contest Friday at the Hawk Nest against Jefferson High School.
