Heartbreak Hawks Lose to Navarro, 1-0

Canyon Lake has officially checked in to the Heartbreak Hotel after another loss by one run to Navarro last Friday night at the Hawk Diamond.

The offense for both schools was over after a home run in the top of the first inning with two outs.

Both pitchers and their defense were able to wrap this game up in a little over 1:20 minutes.

Two innings of, what ifs, continued this heartbreak season with a bases loaded no outs inning and nothing to show for it.

The other inning had two runners on base and a bullet hit off the bat into Navarro’s third baseman mitt, ending that inning with a double play.

This heartbreak hotel had the tenants taking their own luggage to their room and no one to help.

Logan Felch pitched a masterful game with one pitch he would love to have back.

Kyler Huff had a double for the Hawks only extra base hit and Michael Brady kept his hot streak with two hits.

Another heartbreak game and hopefully this hotel is full now and Canyon Lake can get a room at Hotel Valencia Riverwalk in San Antonio and a new season can begin.
