Canyon Lake had pay back in their win over Bandera for a seldom used Monday contest that now has the Hawks making plans for their Bi-District tilt with the Salado Eagles next week.

Canyon Lake could not keep up with Fredericksburg on either side of the ball in this hard fought loss, 33-20.
Hawks ready themselves in big win over Freddie, 3-1.

The Lady Hawks took care of business in win over Fredericksburg, 25-19, 24-26, 25-21 and 25-19. The win can catapult Canyon Lake to a 3rd seed finish in District 28-4A with a win over Bandera this coming Monday.
The 3rd time was a charm for Canyon Lake’s Gold team after two previous games that ended in a tie, this Hawk Gold team took Freddie’s Red team in their final game of the series, 28-14.

Both teams are have winning streaks in trying to keep pace with Lampasas for a chance in winning District 28-4A this year.
Fredericksburg will continue the same type of challenge for Canyon Lake from the offensive side of the ball.
The Billies average 31 points per game while your Hawks are excelling on the defensive side of the ball. The Lake has upped their offense with the start of district and have scored 69 points to open their opening two games.
