Interview with Defensive End Ross Snowden in Hawk Win over Badgers

 Ross Snowden and the Hawk Defense clamped down on the Badgers in that 2nd Half as CL’s Offense finished up the win with 28 unanswered points, 35-21.

Interview with Linebacker Parker Reno after win over Lampasas

Parker Reno had a good defensive effort in win over Lampasas, 35-21. A player with no quit as the defense shut-out the Badgers during the 2nd Half that gave the offense all they needed to get a win.

Canyon Lake’s 2nd half defense shut out Lampasas while the Hawks offense scored 28 unanswered points for the, 35-21 win.

CL shut the door, in the second half, on the Badgers allowing just 97 total yards with 30 rushing and 67 yards through the air.

Canyon Lake’s JV squad had a statement game after a loss to Wimberley last week beating Lampasas on Thursday night at the Hawk Nest, 34-7.

“We had guys coming up and striking people all night,” Coach John Barthels said. “That was one of the best games I have seen them play and I think with them going against the Varsity in practices has made them better.”

Freshman Lady Hawks Fly Past Greyhounds, 25-9 and 25-16

                                     Tilly Wetz setting the stage for a Hawk Win over Boerne.

 

The Sub-Varsity Volleyball teams were also in action on Tuesday night in battles with Boerne.

CL’s JV fell in two games to the Greyhounds, 21-25 and 14-25 and will continue their chance to improve when they meet up with Hondo this Friday.
