Canyon Lake started their District 28-4A season with a loss as the Greyhounds scored 7 runs in their bottom of the 6th inning to run rule the Hawks, 12-2.

Canyon Lake had another successful evening at the Track as both the Varsity and Junior Varsity won at the Bandera Relay last Wednesday.

The Lady Hawks have continued to have a phenomenal year with each week after finishing their 4th Meet in the Top 3 in the team standings.

The JV Hawks Track team lost to Bandera/Hondo/Johnson City/Blanco/Center Point/Comfort by just 57 points, after adding up all of those schools results, they had a total of 338 points compared to Canyon Lake’s 281 total.

Weight Lifting started as a sport at Canyon Lake after the football season last year and now the Hawks will have their first athlete competing in this Region Meet this Week-end.
