This is how Champions are chiseled out of mere athletes,’ We’ve been preaching this to our athletes all year, and it definitely was evident yesterday,” Coach Kimberley Moses said of her team. “Our ladies walked into the natatorium early yesterday morning as athletes and walked out late last night as champions.”

Canyon Lake was able to place 11 players on the 1st & 2nd All-District 13-AAAA Football team after a good finish to a season that was just short of advancing to the Area Round.

Canyon Lake’s All-Time series continues with baseball that will start playing this Saturday with a slate of 5 exhibition games. This first game is a road test in Cuero and then the first home game on February 8th against Hondo.

Canyon Lake turned a negative into a positive in win over Gonzales, 2-1 on Friday night running the Hawk record to 5-1-3 going into district play in two weeks.

The Canyon Lake Hawk’s Boys Soccer secured their 4th win of the season with a solid win over the Eagles last Tuesday night in Pleasanton, 4-0.
