The Canyon Lake Hawks are still looking for the right mojo as District play gets going in earnest.
The baseball team this year has gone back in time…..remember two years ago, when the CL teams oldest players were juniors?
The Hawks flew over the fence with a homerun ball off the bat of Logan Felch scoring Quinn Pike and sending the Wimberley Texans home for the long weekend.
The Canyon Lake Hawks lost their seventh game in a row last Friday night at the Hawks diamond against 5A foe San Antonio Reagan Rattlers, 9-5.
The Hawks basically have two seasons for baseball. The games that are being played now and then the District games that will start next week with the first game against Bandera.
