Canyon Lake held on for their chance to play in this year’s post-season by using their dominate first half lead of 22 points to stave off a ravage Bulldog tell the end, 28-21.

              Jordan Scheppler takes off for another positive play in the MV romp over Churchill, 35-0.

Defense wins Championships and that was the straw that stirred the win and a 2nd place finish for the 8A Football team. This year’s 8A team averages 23 points per game while giving up 8 points.

        Matthew Soza next step will be a tackle in Hawk’s 21-17 comeback win over Lampasas, 21-17

Canyon Lake out scored Lampasas, 7-0 in the 3rd quarter that gave the Hawks a lead to begin their 3rd quarter and put an exclamation point by keeping the badgers without a point during that same stanza.
