Canyon Lake will go into tonight’s battle with a chance of reaching 7 wins in a row as the Burnet Bulldogs bring their team to the Hawk Nest.

The Hawks have been on fire this season by being one of 6 schools in the 4A classification that still has not suffered a loss on their resume.

Burnet has owned the Hawks in this series with 4 wins and just one loss. The Lake did get that one win in this series at a neutral site during the playoffs in the 2010 season. That Bi-District win jettisoned this upstart school to their first 2nd round in the Post Season.
