Freshman Hawks Get Defensive in Win over JFK, 22-0

Hawk Freshman get defensive, (33) Leo Ehrich, (71) Rowdy Hrncirik, (56) Caleb Nidever, (53) Will Crisp, and (28) Brayden Sullivan. Way to Go Lake! 

 

The Hawk Freshman showed  that their 2nd quarter would be enough to be successful enough to add a defensive act after a shut-out over JFK Freshman, 22-0.

Records are Meant to be Broken as Hawks Break Veterans, 77-40

                               Jack Stracener was a busy Hawk as he had an all-time 11 pat for one game. Go Hawks!!

 

Coming into this 4th game of the season, Canyon Lake (3-1) had accumulated 696 total yards and on this offensive night, The Lake, finished with 84% of that total after the new Hawk scoreboard would not blow a fuse in recording 117 total points.

Hawk Freshman Bomb Veterans Memorial, 30-22

QB Damon Garcia & RB Brayden Sullivan classic RPO play was used to perfection in Hawk’s Freshman win over Veterans, 30-22.

 

Canyon Lake’s Freshman set the tone of their win over Veterans Memorial early and had.a 22-0 lead before The Visitors could put points on their board with 1 second on that first half clock.

Aquatic Hawks Split with Rangers, Boys Win & Girls Lose

                     Rianna Gonzales Scores after a Macey Gill assist as The Lake’s comeback falls short.

 

Canyon Lake’s Boys Water Polo beat Smithson Valley, 17-4 and with this win a show-down next Tuesday when CL plays the only other undefeated team in district, Davenport, at the Hawk Nest a battle for #1 seed in the district playoff rounds. (more…)

Hawks Knock the Slot-T out of Navarro in 21-7 Win

Defensive Lineman #44 Dalton Hodges & #9 Wyatt Roberts wreak havoc winning the trenches in Hawk, 21-7 win over Navarro.

 

The Lake (2-1) knocked the slot-t out of Navarro in their convincing, 21-7 barometer win.

Volleyball: Hawks Green Team Salvage tough Night with Blanco

Wednesday, September 11th, 2024

CL Hawk’s Green Volleyball team come out of their time-out after trailing, 9-2 and blitzed Blanco for a resounding, 25-14 win.  Outscoring the Visitors, 23-5 for a team win.

 

Canyon Lake’s Varsity was just not able to climb the hill for a victory after losing those first two sets by identical, 22-25 scores. These two sets CL would only get to within 1 point of tying the score only to be turned back by BHS.

Austin Crockett were Overmatched in Hawks, 56-0 Win

Linebacker Rowdy. Clancy & Defensive Lineman Joseph Matos Padilla shedding blocks for a chance getting the QB.

 

The Hawks were polar opposite from their opener when all 3 phases had a poor outing but during this home opener Canyon Lake had all three phases (Offense/Defense/Special Teams) on the mark with each phase scoring and finished with a, 56 point win over the Crockett Cougars.

Football: Hawk Freshman Get Back in Line in, 42-8 Win Over Cooks

#21 Canyon Buchmann looks to follow #19 Walker Galvan for another long gain in, 42-8 victory over Austin Crockett JV. Go Hawks!

 

The Lake’s Freshman Football team was able to get their bad taste loss to Wimberley after a dominating win over Austin Crockett Junior Varsity, 42-8 by winning the trenches on both sides of the ball.

CL Hawks Have Growing Pains Loss to Texans, 46-0

Growing pains is what the Hawk fans have gone through many times in their life…usually it comes more at a young age…..well that is where Canyon Lake’s Football team finds themselves as this season started against a well established football school.
