The 16th Ranked Canyon Lake (THSB Poll) took care of business in a win over San Antonio Cole, with 5 games on the horizon starting Thursday at the Hawk Tournament, beating Cole, 10-0.

Lady Hawks Softball finished 1st in their Blanco Tournament with 4 wins and one tie as Canyon Lake outscored their opponents, 58-20 and CL finished the tournament portion of their schedule with District 28-4A starting March 18th when Wimberley comes to the Hawk Nest.

The Hawks finished their Comal Clash by run ruling Harlingen Cardinals, 12-3 on a Hayden Baker 2 hitter and Griffen William’s 3rd home run during this tournament.

The Canyon Lake Hawks split two more games on Friday with a win over SA Brennan, 11-3 before meeting a superior Victoria East team who controlled the Hawks, 7-3.

The Hawks started their season with a win over Gonzales after taking advantage of Apaches wildness from the mound by scoring 5 runs on a passed balls while gathering 8 hits in their opener at home, 10-0.
