Varsity Lady Hawks Score 153 Points in Panther Relays

The Lady Hawks was just off by 13 points in taking down Wimberley during the Panther Relays. These two schools dominated the other 6 schools as the rivalry with the Texans might be heating up based on CL’s upgrade this track season.

Lady Hawk’s Junior Varsity Finish First in Panther Relays

Rylee Wunderlich (finished 3rd) & Jazlyn Kearney (finished 1st) scored 16 points in their 800 meter run and help lead CLJV to Panther Relay 1st Place.

Canyon Lake’s Lady Junior Varsity were seeing double when 10 different athletes finished with double digit scoring while edging out Wimberley for their first place finish in Blanco during the Panther Relays.

Track & Field Best Athletes Compared by on the Track Results

The ReSporter would like to know if you might want more interesting information during this time of the year. Today, we will be going over the Top 10 Track Athletes that if you took their event place 1-6 and scored it like a track meet who would amass the most points. If a Hawk finished 7th thru 10th then they would not receive points.

Completed Freshman Class of Ladies Look to Raise The Lake

Freshman Mya Vorhis, Ayren Lighfoot, and Reece Coburn getting final instructions in win over Charlotte, 51-33.

Canyon Lake has had several Freshman grades in the past that have posted some good results when starting their first year in high school. Some of those classes were back in 2012 when those ladies helped Volleyball-Basketball-Softball with Alexis Robinson having the biggest impact replacing one of the best softball players, pitcher Missy Romero.

Five Hawks in State Meet with Alencia Lentz Winning Pole Vault, 13’6

                   Alencia Lentz had no trouble clearing her first height at the Texas State Meet!!

 

Canyon Lake’s Alencia Lentz came home with a Gold Medal after setting a State Meet Record vaulting, 13-06 at The University of Texas Myers Stadium.

The Lake had their most athletes to qualify for this ultimate Track Meet and will look to add to this total for these upcoming years.
