Alencia Lentz set an all-time record at Hallettsille Track Meet earlier this season and in The Texas Relays reached, 13-01.

Track & Field will be the showcase this coming Monday when District 28-4A will be coming to Canyon Lake for this year’s Meet.

                                           McKenzie Ortez newcomer from Wagner HS likes the Relays!!

The Hawk’s Track & Field Team was short handed in their Wimberley Meet with the Girl’s Soccer team being in the heat of their playoff season and add that the Texas Relays depleted the available athletes who would compete.

Connor Windham is a multi even Hawk and in the shot-put & discus battles against Helijah Johnson.

Canyon Lake hosted their Track Meet last Thursday and had more Personal Records (PR’s) set as these athletes prepare for being in their top form when District 28-4A comes calling in April.

Landry Brown will be the lone Hawk survivor for Track & Field’s State Meet to be held this upcoming weekend. High Jump will be her event and that is ironically the only event that CLHS has a State Champion.

These last two years have been a tough road for Track & Field as the season was cut short last year and then this season had the Snow Storm of a Lifetime wrecking several scheduled Meets.

     Mountain Valley Lady Hawks have impressive outing at District Quad Meet.

Mountain Valley Middle School Hawks 7th Grade Boys won their recent Quad Track Meet at the Hawk Nest scoring 216 points. Lady Hawks finish 3rd scoring 132 points with Aubrey Avey leading the Ladies scoring 26 points in four events.
