We are seeking donors, sponsors, and members to help make this event a resounding success.      Way to Make us Proud Hawks!!

Canyon Lake took their first game of the Comal Clash Tournament after seeing Carter Williams scatter 4 hits while striking out 13 Holliday batters.

The Lake accumulated 12 hits but of those 12 hifi five were hits coming from a Holliday pitcher pegging a Hawk batter.

This Eagle team did score in the first inning to start this game and later in the 5th that drew them to a manageable 3 run deficit, 5-2.

However a trait that The Lake has shown this season is responding and in each of those innings the Hawks scored 2 runs.

Williams unloaded a two-run bomb during the bottom of the 5th frame that had the brass in those carpeted offices at the school roping off all those parking spaces for not wanting cars being pelted.

Since the 2018 season, Canyon Lake, has had a winning record for the first 9 contests. This season is only behind that 2020 season which became the year Wuhan won the District.

Records For First 9 Games:

       W L T Pct
2018 5 4 0 .556
2019 6 2 1 .722

2025 7 1 1 .833

CLake will have a double header Friday with a first pitch at 5:00 and 7:30p and then based on how these games play out a Saturday contest around Noon.

Way to GO HAWKS!!

Canyon Lake’s Softball Team had a chance to play a game against the Lady Hawk’s from days gone by as the the Alumni game was enjoyed by all on a Saturday with food and honoring two former students.

This was a Saturday game that allowed the Softball and Canyon Lake High School a chance to pay respects for two recent events.

The loss of Heather St. John to cancer last August 15, 2016 and Megan Browning who lost her life in a car accident this past January 15, 2017.

Both of these young ladies had played Softball as well as other sports during their time at Canyon Lake.

Megan Browning and Heather St. John were both teammates during Canyon Lake’s playoff run in 2011 and many of these alumnus ladies knew and played with Browning and St. John while in high school.
