Way to Go Hawks!!
CL’s Tennis team had their first experience with a Bi-District contest that was in itself a victory of sorts for this upstart team.
Canyon Lake was pitted against a state rated Liberty Hill team and your Hawks were not skunked as there were several players that made this Panther team sweat.
This was a first and having (for the first time) a Junior Varsity, then there might more successful seasons in future seasons.
The Hawk’s Boys finished in 5th Place for their District 28-4A Cross Country Meet last week as Collin Baker had the best finish in CL’s history placing 5th place with a 16:49 time which was just 2 seconds faster race would have Baker finishing in 3rd place overall.
The Lake’s Volleyball crew finally jettisoned their losing streak when they swept Llano on Friday and now will be coming down to their final 3 contests where Canyon Lake is battling it out against Fredericksburg and Bandera for those final two playoff spots.
Canyon Lake will be hosting the Billies on Friday as a precursor before the Hawks Football team battle this same school for a chance to remain holding down a 1st place spot as this sport starts to go down the wire with 3 more Friday’s of action.

North Shore UMC says Go Hawks!
This past week, the Hawks, were in good shape as they would sweep Burnet from their Sub-Varsity to Varsity games.
The Hawk Gold team played their 2nd of 3 games against the Billies and the result of the 2nd tie and a final winner take all game will start off these 3 Hawk teams on the road in Billieville starting at 4:30pm.
A lot going on and time to get out to see some Hawk sports and as always, Go Hawks!!
