The Lady Hawks Basketball squad finish Johnson City Tournament going 3-1 after taking only loss too St. Mary’s.
Canyon Lake finished their Marion Tournament at .500 with those two wins coming against schools that had won a previous contest against The Lake.
Canyon Lake worked up a big enough lead to hold off SA Academy’s fourth quarter rally in an ugly, 62-55 win.

Canyon Lake continues to work on their chemistry after integrating their football classmates and injured players into a season that continues to show improvement. This last pre-Thanksgiving contests, The Lake, split their two games with a win over Fox Tech and losing to the Marion Bulldogs on Tuesday.
Canyon Lake Ladies Basketball team continued their strong start with wins over Austin Reagan and Blanco last week. Those last two wins now has the Lady Basketball sport joining Volleyball and Football as the only Hawk sports with a .500 or better record since sports began in 2009.
The ReSporter likes to start each sport off with where the players are in respect to those all-time leaders. With a good group of Seniors on this year’s team will see a season of some movers and shakers.
