Saturday, September 22nd, 2018By Karen Russell Holmes

CL Hawks Become the Jones’ in Smithville Win, 50-30
Saturday, September 22nd, 2018Smithville started the game with three straight, 3 plays and a punt, and when the Tigers looked up Canyon Lake would have a 20 point lead which would end up being the final point differential in this win, 50-30.
CL Freshman Rush to Tie the Tigers, 28-28

Canyon Lake will be, On the Air, tonight starting at 6:45pm against Smithville
Friday, September 21st, 2018Canyon Lake will continue their season when they meet with Smithville tonight at the Hawk Nest. The Tigers will be bringing a 2-1 record and an offense that can put points on the scoreboard.
CL holds a 2-0 series record with Smithville and with a win could reach a 4-0 record. A win would put the Hawks with a .500 all-time record and which has been reached just once before.
If The Lake can win the battle of Defenses, then a win would certainly be in the cards.
