Canyon Lake Beats Bandera, 9-1, Standings-Box Score-By the #’s

CL Hawks took down Bandera to stay on top of District 28-4A Standings as Boerne and Wimberley stayed lock step as each school continues to forge ahead in hopes of taking this year’s championship.

CL Hawks Win Statement Game in Sweeping Boerne, 12-9

                                Hawks Win Two and Sweep Boerne Pick One and Enjoy!!

 

A statement win for Canyon Lake as the Hawks swept Boerne Greyhounds for their best week of baseball in CL history and now have a log jam in first place with this, 12-9 victory.

Mountain Valley Track & Field had Great Showing in Hawk Quad Meet

     Mountain Valley Lady Hawks have impressive outing at District Quad Meet.

 

Mountain Valley Middle School Hawks 7th Grade Boys won their recent Quad Track Meet at the Hawk Nest scoring 216 points. Lady Hawks finish 3rd scoring 132 points with Aubrey Avey leading the Ladies scoring 26 points in four events.

Baseball: Hawks Green Team Rides the Waves to Victory, 8-2

Canyon Lake’s Green Baseball Team won their 10th game of the season after a clinching 7 run 2nd inning that left the Hawks with an 8-2 victory over the Austin Waves on Wednesday night.

Hawk’s 5 Run Seventh Inning Results in a Win Over Boerne, 8-7

Final Score? Hawks Win and prepare for rematch this Friday at Boerne. Way to Go Hawks!!

 

Canyon Lake was able to improve their chances for a much needed sweep after a comeback for the ages in scoring 5 runs in the last inning to erase a 4 run advantage for the 4th Ranked Boerne, 8-7.

CL Hawks Run Rule Fredericksburg in Rematch, 10-0

                Canyon Lake Hawks have most important games of season next week with Boerne.

 

“Our bats came alive,” Head Coach Victor Escamilla exclaimed. “I had respect for the #1 starter, but I thought we might have an advantage in facing their #2 pitcher tonight. We were more aggressive at the plate.”
