As promised, here is a look into the 2020 football season schedule and the opponents the Hawks will face……
Week two, Sept 4th (Home) vs the La Grange Leopards.
Hawks all-time record vs the Leopards – 0-3.
As the one month of no sports approaches, The ReSporter would like to accent an event that had transpired this season that had not been done to this height before.
Canyon Lake Baseball was well positioned to make a serious run for a playoff as well as a district championship when the Chinese Virus stopped all high school sports by the middle of March.
Canyon Lake’s Ladies Basketball had three players picked for District 28-4A All-District Honors.
Senior Marley Carrizales was picked for 1st Team with Chelsea Tschoepe and Jessie Melendez getting on the 2nd Team roster.
Canyon Lake’s All-District for Boy’s Basketball was announced recently and The Lake had two players finish on the 1st Team and four other players that were recognized.
The ReSporter continues to dig deep into the Baseball stats for comparing where this present team in relation to previous Hawk Teams.
Canyon Lake’s Junior Varsity Baseball team has had a special season so far after starting District 28-4A in beating Fredericksburg and Boerne in their double header contests before a stop in action.
Canyon Lake continued with the best overall record thus far during the baseball season after finishing this past week with a, 3-0 mark.
