Canyon Lake will be looking to even the score tonight with a win that will give both schools 3 wins a piece in this series.

The Lake will be favored but do not take that to the bank as that was the same scenario over 5 years ago when the Hawks traveled to a winless Taylor squad and left that battle with a loss hanging around the Hawks neck.

The Hawks’ game will start at 7:30 with Pre-Game commencing at 6:30pm.

Canyon Lake’s Junior Varsity Football team (5-1) started their District 28-4A sojourn with a win over the Taylor Ducks in a game the host’s led throughout, 21-8.

Canyon Lake’s Volleyball team suffered their 2nd straight 5-Set loss to Fredericksburg on Tuesday night, 2-3. This loss throws District 28-4A into a dog fight for schools looking for a 2nd place seeding for the playoffs.
