The Lake had a tough week on the Volleyball court after losing a key ingredient Outside Hitter Preslie Owens to start their tournament. Playing across the board better competition than previous tourney battles could be added in this disappointing week of contests.

A lot of games and winning their last two against Pflugerville and Hays did soften the wound tho.

Canyon Lake’s Volleyball district does have 3 teams (Wimberley~Tivy~Davenport) in the Top 10 in one poll which still leaves hope to still conquer a playoff spot.

A couple of good things to mention bout the rain-out in Wimberley is that The ReSporter’s car did not have hail damage and The Lake is still undefeated.

A road game to Lago Vista will be next on the docket and this will be the first time these two schools have met.

Cross Country showed off a couple of Ladies as Ava Zabarcencu and Sophie Eastland finished 1st and 2nd at Lago Vista last Saturday.
