Canyon Lake’s Boys Soccer team is still going strong after an important win over Floresville last Friday at the Hawk Nest, 3-1.
Canyon Lake beat the Grey(er)hounds after a hard fought overtime win, 40-35 as the Hawks forged back for a tie in the District 28-4A race with Fredericksburg.
Canyon Lake Sports will be Broadcasting Home District Games!
Canyon Lake will see if they can get a pay-back game when they go to battle against the Greyhounds who beat the Hawks during the first round of District 28-4A play.
The Hawks will be tied with Fredericksburg for 1st with a win as the Billies have a Bye for tonight’s action.

The ReSporter has the updated list of All-Time Stat Leaders for Canyon Lake’s Lady Basketball players. This list has all the present players in Hawk Green and they will be listed in the Top Ten or where there present ranking is in relation to the All-Time List.
Canyon Lake Boy’s Soccer won their CL Classic Tournament last week and look to be ready to continue the success this team started last season.

Coach Barthels: “For starters we only graduated 4 seniors last year. The track program as a whole has slowly, but surely been improving each of the past few years. We have had some individuals that have done well in the past, but this year we have more athletes that are dedicated to the program and the word is spreading that we can compete with anyone we run against.” (more…)
