CL Hawks Defense in Action for Win against Fox Tech.
The Canyon Lake Lady Hawks were able to double up Fox Tech, 40-20 before District 28-4A starts next week in Wimberley.
Kaitlyn Cox and Sofia George play great defense as CL held Geneva to 42 points.
Canyon Lake Lady Hawks had their best game this year after holding the Geneva Eagles to their lowest output of offense since losing their opening game of the season. Since that time Geneva has now reeled of 7 consecutive wins, 42-28.
Emily Pena goes up for a shot early in the game with SA Kipp the Hawks won 47-24.
Canyon Lake unleashed a flood of points in the 2nd quarter that allowed the spillway to overflow scoring 30 points in coasting for a, 47-24 final. Those 30 points scored in that second period was the most in Hawk history.
The Lady Hawk’s Basketball season tipped off this past Tuesday with a win over Poteet, 32-27.

Canyon Lake’s Ladies Basketball had three players picked for District 28-4A All-District Honors.
Senior Marley Carrizales was picked for 1st Team with Chelsea Tschoepe and Jessie Melendez getting on the 2nd Team roster.

The ReSporter has the final results from some great Seniors who will have there names on the top ten list for (in some cases) many years. Especially on the Ladies side after a Senior Class that started 4 years ago for many of these Ladies.
Chelsea Tschoepe finished her 4 year career in every top-ten stat category.
Canyon Lake’s Ladies Basketball team were beaten by a better defensive team in their Bi-District contest and ended their season with a, 22-11 season after loss to Liberty Hill, 46-29.
