CL’s Freshman finished this season with a marked improvement by piling up wins that will set up an off-season for more improvement as that, ‘Proverbial’ Light, was switched on during each week with these Freshman experiencing their fruits of all the hard and labor that began in August.

Canyon Lake is not finished with their quest in qualifying for a playoff berth as last week’s set back to Davenport has grouped up 3 teams still trying to be to stake a 3rd or 4th place seeding.
Goliath was pelted with some stones but in the end Davenport was able to succumb the upstart minded Canyon Lake Hawks….after running out of rocks in the Hill Country (which is a stretch) in a hard fought loss, 61-42.
The Lake’s Freshman showed a valiant effort in their, 48-34 loss to Davenport that could have been a nail biter if turnovers had not left CL in a unforgiving hole.
