The ReSporter had an exhaustive search for District 28-4A schools in searching for Track & Field results in order to have a virtual district track meet.
Caleb Williams and Hawks finished season with a .962 Fielding Percentage.

First off The ReSporter will start off with the team stats to help put in perspective how this Hawk team compared to past Canyon Lake teams. With a caveat for the future as The ReSporter has both Varsity and Junior Varsity season stats.

Governor Greg Abbot and the UIL may shut down the schools and the rest of spring sports for all high schools, but the “Ridiculous Six” as they are known, have not let that dictate slow them down in their efforts preparing for this falls football season.

What happens now?
All of the Spring Sports have officially finished because of China and now Canyon Lake will end promising seasons for several Senior Students that did not have an opportunity to finish what they started.

As promised, here is a look into the 2020 football season schedule and the opponents the Hawks will face……
Week two, Sept 4th (Home) vs the La Grange Leopards.

Canyon Lake Baseball was well positioned to make a serious run for a playoff as well as a district championship when the Chinese Virus stopped all high school sports by the middle of March.
Marley Carrizales was voted on the 1st Team All-District Squad.
Canyon Lake’s Ladies Basketball had three players picked for District 28-4A All-District Honors.
Senior Marley Carrizales was picked for 1st Team with Chelsea Tschoepe and Jessie Melendez getting on the 2nd Team roster.

Canyon Lake’s All-District for Boy’s Basketball was announced recently and The Lake had two players finish on the 1st Team and four other players that were recognized.
