A busy week ahead….not because of volume but based on importance.

First up are 4 Hawk Cross Country Athletes who qualified for a Region IV Meet in Kingsville tomorrow morning. All four of these athletes have a good chance of punching their ticket for State next week in Round Rock.

Sophie Eastland 2nd ~ Eva Zabarcencu 4th
Gipson Cover 7th ~ Baret McDermet 8th

Next on the calendar has Hawk Volleyball scheduled for a Bi-District game against Pleasanton this Friday 6:00pm at Alamo Convocation Center. A tough opponent but not as tough as the three district schools The Lake has gone to battle with this past month. Let’s Go Lake and bring home a win!

Then last Friday’s Lake Football win over Fredericksburg will have another undefeated and 4th ranked Kerrville Tivy coming to the Hawk Nest this Friday 7:30pm.

A win would have The Lake in first place in district play with one game remaining against Austin LBJ.

Those last two wins does gives Canyon Lake a tie-breaker against both schools and bragging rights if they are tied in two weeks. Tivy and Freddie do play each other for their final game.

Having a packed house is imperative for supporting and giving CLHS support for an upset of a Tivy team that is averaging a boat load of points per contest.

As Always: GO LAKE!!
