Lady Hawk’s Soccer take a breather with Bi-District coming up next.
The Lady Hawk Soccer team finished their best season thus far in wins and will now be preparing for Post-Season after coming up just short of a higher seed.
Coach Schroeder will work on his halftime speech and move it to pre-game in the playoffs.
Canyon Lake Boy’s Soccer returned the favor with a win over Davenport as this win closed the regular and district slate as the Hawks will now wait to see who will be their first round opponent when Bi-District starts.

Junior Dalton Stanley is ready to swing in game earlier this season. Stanley continues helping defensively by throwing out baserunners behind the plate.
With bookend home-runs by Tyler Pauly and Matthew McLain, the Hawks won their final contest in the Comal Clash Tournament over Kerrville Tivy, 6-4.
Hawks still excited after a walk-off win over East Central Hornets, 3-2.
Canyon Lake scored a win over San Antonio East Central with a walk-off 3-run triple by Jeremy Greene to end the day after taking care of San Antonio Holmes in an earlier contest, 9-0.
Tristan Roberts and Gibby Martinez were instrumental in Hawks win over East Central.
Canyon Lake continued their fast start this year after beating East Central, 6-4 as the Hawks used a 5 run second inning to wrestle their 3 run deficit into a win over this tough foe.
CL Hawks are locked and ready to go this week as they host their Tournament.

This past week revealed more about this year’s district make-up with the new kid on the block, Davenport, finishing the week with just one loss winning 4 battles. That is compared to starting the year with an 0-5 mark.
Davenport is a much better March team than a February opponent as this is their maiden voyage with the Varsity competition.
This week will have the Wolves sharing their tournament with Canyon Lake as each school is hosting 3 schools with double headers on Thursday and one game on Friday with a seeded game on Saturday.
Wimberley tied the Wolves by recording a 4-1 record. Their tournament contests did not have a great slate of competition and the Texans will be hosting a tourney this week with a chance to step up their competition.
Your Hawks had the next best weekly returns after winning 4 games with 2 losses. Those losses happened against two private schools while the marquee game for CL had to be that Tuesday win over 6A Copperas Cove.
The Hawks will have a game with East Central who tied the Boerne Greyhounds last week. This should shed some light on how these two schools might match up when district starts up in a couple of weeks.
Freddie finished with more wins than losses this past week and will be in Wimberley’s tourney as those results will show which of those two schools might have an advantage later this season.
Bandera has not been a good team thus far as their has been just one school that had not scored 10 or more runs against these Bulldogs. Those two games did reach 9 runs for their opponent and that is still showing some weaknesses for this team.
It will be a long year for these Bulldogs as it is shaping up that 5 schools will be battling it out for those 4 playoff spots.

CL Hawks start their rest before another busy week as CL hosts their tournament on Thursday.
Canyon Lake salvaged their last South Texas Slugfest Tournament game with a win over SA McCollum, 5-3.
Zach Elson and Travis Parma each cashed in with leading the Hawks with 2 hits in win over Hondo JV.
Canton Lake’s Junior Varsity remained undefeated (4-0) with a win over Hondo with Cody Jones striking out 9 Owls for an . 8-2 victory.
